| Agriculture is the most significant contributor to Ethiopia’s economy. Most of the agricultural production is under rainfed conditions and thus extremely sensitive to rainfall variability. Irrigation development, including smallholder irrigation, is used by the Ethiopian Government to attempt to mitigate the effects of rainfall variability. In this study, we look at smallholder irrigation - modern and traditional irrigation systems. A detailed description of the cropping patterns is given. The stochastic frontier production function approach is used to estimate technical inefficiency, and constraints to production are analyzed. | Észak-Magyarország három megyéje közül Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén megyé-ben a legjelentősebb a magánszállásadás szerepe, a vendéglátók 50,5%-a találha-tó itt, Hevesben 41,6%-a, miközben Nógrád megyében 7,9%-a. Észak-Magyarország magánszállás férőhelyeinek eloszlása a 2005-ös adatokat vizsgálva területileg meglehetősen egyenlőtlen. A magánszálláshelyeken belül a 2005-ös adatok alapján a falusi szállásadás szálláshelyei 58%-ot tesznek ki, mellyel a régió eltér az országos megoszlástól. | Accidents with fertilizer distributors at work happen in the Austrian agriculture every year. In accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the standards ISO 4254-1 and DIN EN 14017, fertilizer distributors undergo a risk assessment before construction and market entry to ensure their complying with these legal recommendations and to eliminate largely the risk of injury for the operators. | O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a análise de agrupamento de dados de expressão gênica, conforme realizada no escopo da ?Rede Genômica Animal?. Na seção 2, são apresentados conceitos básicos sobre análises de agrupamento. Em particular, os algoritmos de agrupamento utilizados nessas análises compreendem aqueles mais conhecidos, como k-means, SOM e agrupamento hierárquico. A plataforma de análise escolhida para realização das análises de agrupamento na ?Rede Genômica Animal? é o ambiente de análise estatística R (R DEVELOPMENT CORE TEAM, 2010) e o projeto Bioconductor (GENTLEMAN et al., 2004). | This paper deals about the nematocysts like a source of biometric information for comparison between the species Hydra vulgaris Pallas, 1766, Hydra vulgaris pedunculata Deserti et al., 2011 and Hydra pseudoligactis (Hyman, 1931). This biometric tool lets us carry out statistical comparisons and adding these results to the identification of specimens from different classificatory groups. In this particular study, we obtained significant differences between species, individuals of each species and nematocysts type when compared the biometry of its nematocysts. Another result was the variation in of particular nematocysts, like atrichous isorhiza and holotrichous isorhiza for the species H. vulgaris in relation to the column size. |

| Pour l’étude biométrique de la squille Squilla mantis, un échantillonnage régulier a été réalisé dans le golfe de Tunis, le golfe de Hammamet et le golfe de Gabès de janvier 2005 à décembre 2006. Les équations morphométriques de la squille, dans le golfe de Gabès, ont montré que la croissance relative du telson, celle de la masse totale et celle de la masse éviscérée par rapport à celle du céphalothorax sont caractérisées par une allométrie positive. Par contre, la longueur totale croît négativement par rapport à celle du céphalothorax.
